Frequently Asked Questions
Houston Builders has been serving homeowners in the Texas area for over 10 years.
At Houston Builders, we are committed to quality and customer satisfaction. We use only the highest quality materials and workmanship to ensure that your home is not only beautiful but also built to last.
We work with you to develop a budget and timeline that fits your needs, and we strive to deliver value for money on every project. We also offer flexible payment options to make it easier for you to finance your home remodeling project.
The best time to remodel your home depends on which type of project you want to undertake. For example, if you are looking at renovating your kitchen, then this could be done in any season of the year.
However, if you are looking at doing an outdoor landscaping project, then it would be better if this was done during spring or summer when there is no rain or snowfall in the Houston area. This way the ground will be dry and work can proceed more easily without interruption by rain or snowfall.
You don’t have to worry about any permits. Houston Builders will handle them for you.
Depending on the size of the kitchen and what type of work we’re doing, it typically takes 7 to 14 days from start to finish. We’ll discuss this with you when we come out for our initial consultation.
The cost of a kitchen remodel depends on the extent of the project, but typically ranges between $1,000 and $3,000. This can include all new cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and flooring.
It’s important to keep in mind that these figures are just estimates and can vary widely depending on the size of your kitchen, your specific needs, and what you want out of your new space.
Remodeling is the process of improving an existing space by adding or removing walls, replacing flooring and other surfaces, installing new cabinets or countertops, or adding features like a deck or patio.
Renovation refers to a more extensive project that involves creating a new space within an existing structure. It can include adding another level on top of an existing foundation or building an addition to your home.
If you have basic carpentry skills, you can probably tackle simple projects like installing new cabinets, replacing old light fixtures, and repairing drywall holes.
However, we recommend hiring a professional if you aren’t sure how to complete any part of your project safely and efficiently — especially when dealing with electrical wiring or plumbing.
Just remember: Do not attempt any jobs that involve gas lines, furnaces, or natural gas appliances without first consulting with a licensed professional.
To start with, you can save time and money by hiring a professional. You will not have to worry about handling the project yourself or learning how to do it properly. You can also save on labor costs because professionals have years of experience in their field and know how to get jobs done quickly and efficiently.
